VEDH i. e. Vocational Education, Direction & Harmony was conceptualized initially to serve Community purpose. After first two years it was apparent that the emerging need of students, teachers and parents was not only 'information' but, 'information regarding various perspectives on career'. Also, the need to inspire and motivate the children to take challenges was deeply felt. Integration of career building with personality development was another important issue. IPH wanted students and parents to be 'career conscious' and not 'careeristic.'
"VEDH": The name
VEDH is the acronym for Vocational Education, Direction & Harmony when written in English. In Marathi, 'VEDH' means an unwavering aim at the target. Thus, both terms project its mission.
