This is a supportive, group- oriented workshop for slow learners i.e., children having an IQ in the range of 75- 85. Totally 8 sessions of 2 hrs each are taken. First and the last sessions are with parents. In six sessions, children are exposed to various stimuli in different sensory modalities using play, exercises and other fun interactions. The aim is to help improve the skills in various areas such as sociability, emotionality, energy, attention etc.
This encouraging workshop is being held in IPH for the past 6 yrs.
Children can be referred to Occupational therapist and speech therapists for further development.
